Ugh, I need a beta.  I've been writing more in The Iceberg, I'm on a bit of a roll.  BUT it means that I'm a little stuck on Splinter of Hope. 

General premises...

Iceberg:  Hermione is a genius at mixing Muggle and Wizarding technology, and has a big plan brewing ... but there's a group out there that doesn't like it.  Draco is assigned to protect her.

Splinter of Hope:  Hermione has been captured, and is a 'present' for Draco.  But things aren't all as they appear...

Both are NC-17, of course.

I have one other idea, one that I hadn't even remembered until I opened an untitled document on my home folder.  Its something that I don't always like, the concept that Hermione was on the Dark Side all along.  But I made it compliant at least with the first 6 books, I might even get it complaint with the 7th.  Moderately.

We'll see.

So ColouredGrey is moving to a new server, it kinda freaked me out!

All of a sudden, I went to see any recently updated and BAM ... nothing.  Very anticlimactic.  I hope they don't lose anything though, there're a few stories I have posted that I don't have saved anywhere else (stupid harddrive failing...).

In other news, nothing of too much note has been occurring in my life.  I pretty much do the ordinary corporate American deal; wake up too early, go to work, come home too late, cook dinner for me and the man, play the Wii / watch tv and go to sleep.  

I need to get more on the writing of original fics, I sort of fell into the fanfic world and got totally sucked in.  It's wonderful when all the groundwork is done for you ;-)
